Tick Tock, Tick Tock

Still waiting... No fourth little mountain yet. I feel like a timebomb, waiting to go off. I don't think my body will go into labor itself. I need to have my water broken, and then maybe pit. We'll see...

School Daze!

Addie goes to second grade
Olivia goes to kindergarten!
Naomi goes to preschool

There couldn't have been 3 more excited little girls to go to school! I've been trying to talk them all into homeschool so that I can have them all day. No one will even consider. Hmmmm......

Beat This Belly

Some of the comments I got just today, I won't even try to catalog them from other days...
"are you SURE there's not twins in there?"
"you're still here?"
"i'm not even going to say anything..."
"there really must be a baby buffalo in there"
"didn't your big day come and go already?"
"shouldn't you be in bed?"
"are your fingers and ankles pregnant too?"
and my personal favorite was from a little 4 year old...
"Amy what happened to your tummy? What did you put up your dress?"

but none of this matters. Despite hearing it everyday, the comments are somewhat humorous, and I can enjoy this big belly. Its when people still make comments when the baby is a few weeks/months old, that I will be muttering incantations under my breath, and someone might be turned into a toad!

Grandpa Slagle

Yesterday was my grandpa slagle's funeral. He was such a special person to me. I must say that the funeral was wonderful. There were so many great memories of him shared, and all but one of my 26 cousins were there. (which I don't think has ever happened) It was wonderful to see them all. Grandpa got sick after having bypass surgery at the beginning of this year, and hasn't been himself for several months. I am happy for him to not have to suffer anymore, but selfishly I will miss this sweet, fun man; his kisses and love, and fun sense of humor. I worry about my grandma- who's biggest hobby has always been to take care of my grandpa. What will she do now? His internment included a beautiful ceremony from the honor guard. They played taps, and folded the flag on his casket and gave it to my grandma. I am so thankful the military does that for those who have fought for thier country. It was so respectful and appropriate. I'll miss you gramps!

Confessions from a slacker blogger

I don't have a spectacular reason for not blogging much lately.
My cousin Hayden told me I was despicable for being such a poor blogger.
I'm just LAZY!
Instead of blogging about my whole summer, in one blog, I'll do a bunch of little ones, and try to update and get myself motivated, so I don't disappoint all of my LOYAL FANS! So, beware- many, many blogs to come!
